Psalms Coffee, located at 14189 Foothill Blvd in Fontana, CA, is making waves as a charming new addition to the local coffee scene. This cozy coffee shop offers a unique menu inspired by the fruits of the Spirit, featuring drinks like the 'Grace Latte' and cozy choices named after virtues such as 'Kindness' and 'Peace.' Customers have praised the quality and taste of the coffee, noting that the well-crafted beverages provide a satisfying experience.
While the shop's entrance is somewhat hidden, shared with a gym, those who venture inside are rewarded with a peaceful atmosphere enriched by good vibes and friendly service. However, a few reviewers mentioned the limited seating and unclear menu visibility as areas for improvement. The ambiance drives a sense of community, with patrons often connecting over a shared love for coffee.
Overall, Psalms Coffee has earned a favorable reputation as a go-to spot for anyone looking to escape larger chains like Starbucks. It is ideal for a quick grab-and-go experience, especially if you appreciate supporting small businesses. Whether you're savoring a calming 'Self Control' or indulging in a seasonal delight, there's something here for everyone. Reviews for Psalms Coffee
Review highlights
Based on 50 reviewsPsalms Coffee in Fontana garners praise for its quality coffee and inviting, peaceful atmosphere, appealing especially to those seeking a calm spot amidst a busy day. Customers frequently note the shop's cozy size and stylish, friendly vibe, although seating is limited, making it more suitable for quick visits or takeout. The coffee offerings, including specialty lattes and less sweetened options, are generally well-liked for their taste and craftsmanship, though preferences on sweetness and foam consistency vary. Location visibility is a common challenge, with the shop sharing an entrance with a gym and lacking prominent external signage, which some find inconvenient. Overall, Psalms Coffee is appreciated for its unique charm and solid beverage quality despite minor accessibility concerns.
Nice, small storefront coffeeshop. Take note, there's no signage on building, that can be seen from the street or parking lot. The entrance is shared with a gym, called Urban Iron, that has a large banner over door entrance. The coffee has a good taste and quality. I ordered the Kindness. Well made and tasted well. Not sweet enough for my preferences and the foam was a little too thick, to the point it would not mix easily with the coffee, even after being stirred. Other than that the presentation was very good. Customer service was good. Friendly and attentive. There was only one menu available and it was at the register, flat on the counter. Only visible, once you got to the register and ready to order. A larger, more visible menu or menus would be a good idea. Seating is available inside and out. Yet, not many seats available. IDK if there's Wi-Fi. Saw no signage. Overall, the coffee is good enough to return and warrant sampling another choice on the menu. I recommend this coffee shop, especially if you want to support a small business and get away from the less favorable places like Starbucks and Dutch Brothers.
I got their Peace drink. It is a Spanish latte and it's pretty good, it looks amazing. It's not the best Spanish latte I've ever had but also not the worst. Definitely worth a try though. The location is hard to see, you have to go in thu doors to a gym.
Loving this new coffee shop in Fontana, nice vibe inside. The unsweetened 'self control' is so good! Keep it simple.
Such a peaceful vibe if you can get in. Last time the line was wrapped around the place, so I gave up. This time I just happened to be nearby and got lucky. Tried the seasonal Grace Latte — pretty good, no complaints. I will say it was some strong matcha because the anxiety is real! (Don’t judge — I don’t do well with caffeine.) Keep in mind there’s not much room to sit, so it’s definitely grab-and-go. Perfect for grabbing a drink, snapping a cute picture, and moving on with your day. Which is a shame, because the music is so good I’d happily hang out all day just for the playlist. Guess I’ll have to settle for sipping my matcha in the car pretending I’m still there. Give it a try and don't forget yo bring your patience
Corner of Banana and Foothill What a refreshing, cute, busy, great tasting coffee shop. The vibe was filled with peace and kindness. Elijah made a random new friend and I through Elijah met two new moms. Its right in between Muay Thai and I think Gym Iron.
Such a cute coffee shop! The owners Leslie and her husband make the drinks per order. Beautiful and warm atmosphere, with the most delicious drinks! We ordered Peace and Kindness ice lattes with a small fruit cheesecake cup.
Absolutely love Psalms! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with the warmest, kindest customer service. The baristas genuinely care and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is exactly what I needed—calm, cozy, and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours, read, reflect, or get some work done without feeling rushed. Their attention to detail in both the drinks and the ambiance is unmatched. Definitely my new favorite coffee spot!
Highly recommend this coffee shop. The energy and atmosphere are amazing, good vibes! I got the (Peace) and the mini cheesecake, very delicious. I strongly encourage the community in Fontana to Support the local family owned businesses, that’s how we preserve the identity of our town.
